Security

Security and trust

Escrow only works if you can trust the middleman. Here's how we earn that trust.

Your money is kept apart

Funds paid into escrow are held in a dedicated account, separate from the company's operating money, and are released only according to the transaction terms both parties accepted.

Payment details only inside the deal chat

Payment details are sent by your escrow agent inside your deal chat and are visible only to the buyer. Payout details are visible only to the seller and the agent. All of them are stored encrypted.

We know who we deal with

Before funds are released, parties verify their identity. Large or unusual transactions receive additional checks in line with anti-money-laundering rules.

Fraud monitoring

Transactions are reviewed for known fraud patterns: mismatched details, suspicious payment sources, last-minute changes to payout accounts.

Encryption and data protection

The site works only over HTTPS, passwords are stored as strong one-way hashes, and personal data is processed in line with the GDPR.

Neutral dispute resolution

We don't take sides. Disputes are reviewed by people, based on evidence and on the terms both parties agreed to.

How to spot a fake escrow website

Fraudsters sometimes copy escrow websites and send the link to their victims. Stay safe:

  • Always type guaranza.com yourself or use a bookmark — don't follow links sent by the other party.
  • Check that the address bar shows exactly guaranza.com with a valid HTTPS padlock.
  • Guaranza never asks you to pay to a personal account, gift cards or crypto wallets.
  • Payment details are shown only inside your Guaranza deal chat, sent by your escrow agent — never by email or messenger.
  • If a seller insists on an escrow service you've never heard of, be careful — and contact us if in doubt.
